Reflection on translation and interpreting textbooks for higher vocational education

摘要 现有高职翻译教材的编写与教学实际脱离,主要是缺乏对课程模式和教材理论的研究。高职翻译教材的开发应该与项目翻译课程模式相符,在功能主义翻译理论的指导下,采用功能流派编写体系和综合编排方式,以工作结构内容为导向、以序列化项目活动为线索、以语篇为单位、以实训实习为检验模式进行编写,培养适应社会需要的翻译人才。 The textbooks in use for Translation & Interpreting courses at the higher vocational education level are divorced from the teaching reality, mainly due to the deficiency of research on its teaching pattern and textbook theory. It is proposed that the compilation of textbooks for Translation & Interpreting should correspond to the pro- ject - based curriculum under the guidance of functionalist translation theory. Namely, functionalist compiling ap- proach and comprehensive arrangement should be taken to structure textbooks with work content, organize it with serialized projects, to use texts as illustrating units and practice and training as verifying modes, so that more quali- fied translators can be cultivated for the society.
