Chuju, one passage of Chu Bamboo Slips in Tsinghua University, contains much evidence of the origin of Chu state, the reason of so-called "Chu" and the history of its migration to Ying. Thus it has high value for the textual research of historical records, and provides new documental evidence to solve the difficult problems of Chuci (《楚辭》). This article makes notes and commentaries on the text of Chuju, especially on those Chu places such as Jingzong, Yizhun, Pang'an, Qiaoyi, Mound of Tonggongn and Zhanghuatai in Qianxi. It also makes a conclusion that those places are most likely in Chen and Cai during the Spring and Autumn Period to the early Warring States period.
