The Effect of Pavement Roughness on Fuel Consumption

通过5种车辆在不同平整度的平直路段上的油耗试验,建立了同车辆特性(功率和发动机转速)和路面平整度相关的油耗预估模型。同时,通过车速调查和采用限速法,建立了稳态速度预估模型。在综合这2个模型的基础上,建立了5种车辆在平直路段上的平整度油耗关系。它们可用以进一步建立为路面管理系统服务的用户费用模型。

In this paper, a fuel consumption prediction model is developed for 5 types of vehicle, based on fuel consumption experiments on road sections with various roughness levels, and a steady-state speed prediction model is also established by surveying the desired speed of vehicles, and by using probabilistic limiting speed approach. Thus, the fuel consumption-roughness relationship for 5 types of vehicle can be derived, for developing the vehicle operating cost model for pavement management system.
