摘要
星载,机载SAR成像系统的不断发展,促使SAR图像的数据量急剧膨胀。庞大的数据量给数据的存储与传输带来巨大压力,严重制约着SAR图像的后续应用。在分析SAR图像的统计特性及其特点的基础上,介绍了图像压缩方法的发展,并从“矢量量化”,“小波分解”,“图像内容”和“压缩感知”四方面,对不同的SAR图像压缩方法进行阐述和归纳,指出了不同压缩方法存在的主要问题。最后对SAR图像压缩未来研究的方向进行了展望。
The amount of SAR image information has been growing exponentially with the fast development of the spacebore and airbore SAR imaging system, which makes tremendous difficulties for the data collection, storage and transmission during application of the SAR imaging system. In order to overcome the image storage and transfer difficulties, effective image compression techniques have to be adopt- ed. In this paper, the SAIl. image compression techniques with new advances in the world have been elaborated and summarized in four methods: (/)vector quantization, (2)wavelet transform, (3)content-based coding, (4)compressed sensing. Based on the analysis, statistical property and essential attributes of the SAR. image information, we pointed out the main problems in different methods, and the development trends of the SAR image compression algorithm are prospected.
