On the Formation of Appeasement Policy from Britain's Peace Movement during 1920s and 1930s

第二次世界大战的爆发是有多种原因的,其中绥靖政策的不断推行是一个直接原因。第二次世界大战的爆发到底是战争的宣泄所引起还是和平的溢流而导致?促使二战爆发的是法西斯的叫嚣还是和平主义者的妥协?抛开众所周知的客观因素——英法实力衰退以及经济危机的爆发,从当时民众的心理状态和社会氛围来看,从某种程度上来说,20世纪30年代英国和平主义运动的极端进行为绥靖政策的形成提供了动力和温床,是绥靖政策推行的直接因素并最终加速了二战的爆发。

There are many reasons for the outbreak of the World War II,one of which is that the appeasement policy continued for a long time.Why did the War breakout？ Was it because of the indulgence of violence or appeasing for peace？ Did we ascribe the outbreak of WWII to the clamor of the fascist or to the compromise of the pacifist？ Setting aside some well-known objective factors——the strength recession of Britain and French and the economic crisis,people＇s psychological state and the social atmosphere to some extent,the peace movement during 1930s in Britain created some conditions for the implementation of the appeasement policy,then it accelerated the ultimate outbreaking of the War.
