逃离意识在20世纪90年代女性成长小说中随处可见,在逃离过程中,女性所表现出来的刚强气质与独立自主,使逃离本身成为女性寻找自我、认知自我、完善自我与实现自我的开端。同时,成长女性在逃离的过程中,经常会由于各种原因重新回归到原有的生活轨道上来,但这种回归并不意味着女性退回到原来的精神原点,而是在一定意义上表征着女性个体的成熟和自主性力量。
