关于商科院校开设英语公众演讲公共选修课的研究 被引量:2

摘要 一直以来,商科院校致力于培养具有商科专业知识和技能,同时在国际和国内事务中能进行自由表达、论辩,能发现问题和处理问题的人才。英语演讲辩论能力也理应成为此类大学培养有国际视野的人才过程中的必要因素。然而据作者观察和分析,在英语的技能训练中,除去部分学校英语专业开设了英语演讲课,部分英语专业和大部分非英语专业的学生与英语公众演讲课程基本无缘。商科院校旨在打造商科特色,培养为经济领域服务的国际化实用型人才,应当将学生的英语演讲能力放在比较重要的位置。本论文从英语公众演讲课程的理论基础和教学目标谈起,探索在商科院校开设英语公众演讲全校公选课的必要性和可行性,重点阐述如何进行英语公众演讲课程的教学实践。 For many years, business-related higher educational institutions have devoted to cultivating graduates who possess professional business knowledge and skills and are able to have free expressions and debates, can discover and handle problems in domestic and international affairs. English speaking and debating expertise should be a necessary factor in the process of training such talents of international horizons. However, according to the author's observation and analysis, in English skill training process, besides some institutions that opened English public speaking course, English majors and non-English majors have no chances to access such a course. Business-related higher educational institutions aim at establishing business-related characteristics and train internationalized practical talents to serve economic course. They should privilege English speaking capabilities. Starting from the theoretical foundation and teaching goals of English public speaking course, this paper explores the necessity and feasibility of opening such a course. The paper is also focusing on the approaches of practicing such a course.
