摘要
目的探讨血管活性肠肽(vasoactive intestinal peptide,VIP)、基质金属蛋白酶-9(matrix metalloproteinnases,MMP-9)在前列腺癌组织中的表达及其与前列腺癌发生、发展的关系。方法采用免疫组化法检测VIP与MMP-9在前列腺增生组织、前列腺癌组织中的表达,并对两者的相关性进行分析。结果前列腺癌组织中VIP、MMP-9的表达阳性率显著高于前列腺增生组织(χ2=8.255,P=0.004;χ2=7.417,P=0.006)。前列腺癌组织中VIP、MMP-9在不同病理学分级及临床分期之间的表达阳性率差异有统计学意义(χ2=6.957,χ2=6.618;χ2=7.210,χ2=6.454;P均<0.05),且同病理学分级及临床分期相关(r=0.390,r=0.368;r=0.400,r=0.377;P均<0.05)。前列腺癌组织中VIP表达与MMP-9表达具有相关性(χ2=4.066,P=0.044,r=0.323)。结论 VIP、MMP-9参与了前列腺癌的发生、发展,二者在前列腺癌的浸润和转移的过程中起重要作用,二者可能有协同作用。
Objective To study the expression of vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP) and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) in prostatic adenocarcinoma and to find out the mechanism that VIP and MMP-9 works in the prostatic adenocarcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of VIP and MMP-9 on the paraffin-embedded sections of 39 specimen of PCa tissues and 20 specimen of BPH tissues.Results The expression of VIP and MMP-9 in prostatic adenocarcinoma had been found and was higher than in benign prostatic hyperplasia(χ2=8.255,P=0.004;χ2=7.417,P=0.006),meanwhile,there was a significant difference of VIP and MMP-9 expression among the PCa tumor cell nuclear grade and the clinical stage(χ2=6.454-7.210,P0.05),and they were correlated with the PCa tumor cell nuclear grade and the clinical stage(r=0.001-0.045,P0.05).There was a correlation between expression of VIP and expression of MMP-9(χ2=4.066,P=0.044,r=0.323).Conclusions VIP and MMP-9 may be important elements in PCa,and their functions are synergistic and interdependent.
