Innovation in Integrated English Teaching in Private College

独立学院是我国高等教育的一种新型的重要形式,对于我国高等教育的大众化事业发展发挥了十分重要的作用。本文根据《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》对英语专业人才培养的要求,结合独立学院英语专业学生的特殊性,使用交际教学法(Communicative Language Teaching)、任务型教学法(Task-based Language Teaching)和传统教学法相结合的方法,对综合英语教学进行改革。

Innovation in English teaching has received considerable attention in private colleges in China because the current integrated English does not seem to keep up with the development of the society. This essay will try to combine new methodologies- CLT and TBLT with traditional method--Grammar-Translation Approach to make some changes to private colleges according to the Syllabus for English Major Students in Higher Education.
