Brief description on the characteristics of regional environmental impact assessment(REIA), emphasizing on discussion of the affected factors of effectiveness of REIA and its limited conditions were presented. Through description on public participation conferences, contents and the recommendation of enlarging public participation to propose the active role of enhancing REIA effectiveness.
