Effects of Environmental Pollution Induced by Rural and Township Enterprises on Human Health

[目的 ]探讨乡镇企业环境污染对人群健康影响。 [方法 ]于 1 994～ 1 996年对顺德市某乡镇企业集中区(A镇 )进行环境监测和人群健康的流行病学研究 ,并与对照区 (B镇 )进行比较。 [结果 ] A镇乡镇企业污染与 B镇差异不显著。两镇人群急性病和慢性病发病率与室内外环境污染有一定关系。 1 994～ 1 996年 A镇人群标化死亡率均低于 B镇 (P>0 .0 5) ,1 995年和 1 996年 A镇标化减寿率均低于 B镇 (P>0 .0 5)。 [结论 ]乡镇企业集中区人群健康水平较高 。

Objective]To explore the effects of environmental pollution induced by rural and township enterprises on human health [Methods]Environmental monitoring and epidemiological survey were carried out among population in a rural and township enterpeises centralized area (A town), and were compared with a control area (B town) without rural and township enterprises in Shunde during 1994~1996 [Results]The observed environmental pollution revealed no significant differences between A town and B town The incidence rates of acute diseases and chronic diseases among the observed population in two towns showed certain associations with indoor and outdoor environmental pollution The standardized mortality rate of population in A town was lower than that in B town during 1994~1996 ( P>0 05 ) The standardized potential years of life lost rate of population in A town was lower than that in B town in 1995 and 1996 ( P>0 05 ) [WT5”,6FZ][Conclusion]The population in rural and township enterprises centralized area presented better good health level The development of rural and township enterprises revealed certain sustainable
