经济发达地区农村劳动力非农劳动供给的性别差异分析

Gender Difference and It's Determinants in Non-agricultural Labor Supply in Developed Rural Area

本文利用江苏省调查数据,采用Heckman两阶段模型,对经济发达地区农村劳动力的非农供给行为及其性别差异进行了分析。研究结果表明,农村劳动力的非农劳动供给具有明显的性别差异:女性非农劳动参与率低、就业地点近、劳动强度低、非农劳动时间短、非农工资率较低;家庭和社会分工的不同使得农村男女劳动力非农劳动供给的制约因素各异,其中婚姻、学龄前儿童数和需赡养老人数对女性非农劳动供给的影响较大。

This paper uses field survey data of Jiangsu Province and Heckman Two-stage model,to work out the gender difference and it's determinants of non-agricultural labor supply in developed rural.The result shows that there is great gender differences in rural labor's non-agricultural labor supply,such as rural female labors has lower non-agricultural participation,shorter migration distance,lower labor intensity,shorter non-agricultural work time and the resulting lower wage.Meanwhile,determimants of non-agricultural labor supply is different between rural male and female as a result of their different comparative advantage.Marrige,number of children and the old has significant negtive effect to female labor's non-agricultural particpation.
