From "Total knowledge" to "Boundaries of science"——On Karl Jaspers' View of Science

卡尔·雅斯贝尔斯从对"科学的哲学"和"全体知识"的批判入手,揭示了现代科学和哲学相混淆的现状。他在理清科学的划界标准和科学的界限的基础上,指出了科学和哲学各自的独立性。科学与哲学既不能相互混淆,彼此又相互依赖,明确二者的区别与联系将有助于达到二者的真正统一。

Karl Jaspers criticized ＂Scientific philosophy＂ and ＂total knowledge＂,and revealed the present situation which the modern science and the philosophy confused.He was on the basis of clearing demarcation criteria and boundaries of science,pointed out the science and the philosophy respective independence.Science and philosophy cannot be confused with one another and mutually dependent.Finding out the difference and relationship will be helpful in achieving the true unity of the two.
