H指数与W指数及其衍生系列指数的差异机理分析 被引量:3

摘要 基于科学计量学领域中的H指数及其衍生系列指数的理论研究,文章将其与w指数及其衍生系列指数之间的差异机理进行全面的比较分析。两者比较的内容包括微观层面的指数评价机制的差异及两种评价体系的优劣,并在宏观层面统计学意义上,指出两种体系的关联和异同。最后通过主成分因子分析的实证结果,寻找这种差异在科学计量学中的表现。不同于单指数评价的比较,作者通过对两种的评价指数体系的比较,为信息计量学指数的评价提供新的方向;并对基于H指数和w指数的新衍生指数的进一步研究作出基础性工作。本文主要贡献是提出了与H指数的衍生系列指数相对应的w指数的衍生系列指数,并推导得出了两者在数量模型和实证分析中的关系,这种关系对科技评价工作中评价指数的选取具有指导意义。 The h-index and its derivative informetric indices have received many attention from the field of seientometries in the past few years due to their applications in assessment decision and scientific evaluation. We analyze two families of scientific impact indices (generalization of the H-and W-index) that measure the performance of a scholar. The paper will give a comprehensive and profound comparison of them. We will use mathematical methods to find their statistically significant relationships, and make an empirical research to verify its significance. The results of the analysis show that the two families of W-index and H-index have many different and common properties and performance. Then, we discuss that two types of scientific impact indices have a special relationship with the two factors ( source and item). The major contribution of this article is that we put forward the family of W-index and find the relationship with H-index. That is one of the most basic questions in the informetric evaluation.
