On Foucault's New Political Thought: Construction of Micro-Power Genealogy

摘要当代西方政治思想的一个重要特征,就是以阶级和国家为核心的宏观政治概念遭到质疑,一种围绕日常权力关系形成的"微观政治"构想脱颖而出。这种微观政治回应了20世纪60年代以来各种新社会运动的政治诉求,表达了一种"日常生活的政治"或者"后现代的政治"。福柯的新政治观就是这样一种典型的微观政治构想。他以权力谱系学为基础,着力揭示了微观权力的种种形式,由此重新定义了"权力"和"政治",提出了微观政治的基本构想。在分析以"圆形监狱"为模型的权力运作机制的过程中,福柯探讨了作为一种自由实践活动的"抵抗政治"的可能性条件,从而建构了一种反本质主义的和多元主义的新政治观。这种新政治观集中体现了西方后现代主义政治观的基本倾向。 The project of micropolitics presents some important changes in the contemporary political philosophy. It rejects the traditional political thought and turns on the power relation in the everyday life. It may be said that the project of micropolitics reflects the political innovation and experimenta tion of ＂New Social Movements＂ since the 1960s. Foucault＇s new political thought should be a model of the project of micropolitics in some sense. He redefined the power and politics based on the genealogi cal analysis of power relations, and searched after the possible conditions of the resistant politics as a practical transgression of limits. Foucault＇s new political thought was clearly antiessentialism, and his project represented the turn of the postmodern politics.
