张澍是有清一代甘肃最著名的学者,一生勤于笔耕,著作宏富,学术成就巨大。在辑佚学、姓氏学、方志学、金石学、西夏学、敦煌学等领域均有精深的研究,对有清一代西北史地学的发展做出了突出贡献,是乾嘉时期西北史地研究的领军人物。

ZhangShu is one of the most famous scholars in the Qing Dynasty in China,who was diligent in writing all his life and made a lot of achievements in academy.He made a profound study in Compiling Science,Name Learning,Fang Zhixue,Epigraphy,Tangut Studies,Dunhuang Science and other fields,and he made a great contribution to the development of the historical-geography of northwestern China.He is a leader of research field during the period of Qianlong and Jiaqing Dynasties.
