Fullerenes are made up of carbon atoms and free of any factional group. They are catalysis-free for VOCs, and can be stored stably with little adsorbed gases lost after adsorbing VOCs. On fullerenes, the breakthrough volumes of 9 kinds of VOCs (mg·l-1) are 14.8 to 48.0 L·g-1 . The recoveries of adsorption-thermaldesorption of fullerenes adsorbent tubes ranged from 86.5 to 123% .
