摘要
本文介绍了利用激光弛豫振荡频率和激光参数的关系来测量激光跃迁截面和荧光寿命的方法。利用该方法测量了Nd:YAG 1.0642μm和Nd:YAP1.0795μm的激光跃迁截面及荧光寿命,其结果分别为43×10^(-20)—cm^2,253μs和46×10^(-20)cm^2,142μs。
A new method for measurement of the laser transition cross-section and fluorescence lifetime is introduced. It is based on the relation between the laser relaxation oscillation frequency and the laser parameters. By this method, the transition cross-section and the fluorescence lifetime of Nd:YAG laser at 1.0642μm and Nd:YAP laser at 1.0795μm are measured to be 43×10-20 cm2, 252μs and 46×10-20cm2, 142μs respectively.
