On Two Models of Political Cognition

政治的基本范畴是政治学存在和立论的根本,也是学科中长期争论的基本问题。本文对历史上各种具有代表性的政治观进行了归纳,认为各种观点之间的差异反映到对社会关系的政治本质认识上,又进一步表现为各执一端的两种观点,即政治的本质根源于群体之间的关系,还是根源于个体与群体之间的关系。本文分析了两种基本观点的立论基础和方法论,得出的结论是它们都缺少理论上的周延性。

This article summarizes various political conceptions that are representative in history. The author maintains that different political conceptions reflect understanding of the political essence of social relations. Two extreme answers to the same question are discussed. They are: does the essence of politics arise from relationship between different social groups or relationship between individuals and the group? The author then produces a political concept that transcends the two extremes on the basis of summarizing basic political categories of modern politics .
