Expression and significance of Axin and p53 in human non-small-cell lung cancer

摘要 目的 Axin(Axis inhibitor)作为Wnt信号传导通路最为重要的负性调节因子可以与p53结合,而两者均有促进细胞凋亡的作用。探讨Axin与p53在非小细胞肺癌中表达的关系及其与临床病理因素及患者预后的相关性。方法采用免疫组织化学染色及Western blot检测Axin、p53在95例有随访资料的非小细胞肺癌患者癌组织中的表达。结果 Axin在非小细胞肺癌组织中的阳性率为45.26%(43/95),明显低于正常肺组织。Axin的表达与非小细胞肺癌的分化正相关(=0.012),与TNM分期及淋巴结转移相关(<0.05),与突变型p53的表达负相关(=0.000)。Axin高表达的患者预后明显好于低表达的患者(<0.05)。结论 Axin与突变型p53的表达负相关,Axin高表达者预后较好。 Objective Axis inhibitor(Axin) is an important negative regulator of the Wnt signal pathway and can bind with p53.Both Axin and p53 are promoters in apoptosis.This study is to investigate the relationship between Axin expression and p53 expression,their relationship with clinical pathology factors and patient prognosis.Methods Immunohistochemistry and Western blot were performed in 95 cases of human non-small cell lung cancer with complete follow-up records.Results The positive rate of Axin expression in cytoplasm of non-small cell lung cancer was 45.26%(43/95),lower than that in normal lung tissue.The expression of Axin was positively correlated with differentiation of non-small cell lung cancer(=0.012),negatively correlated with TNM stage and lymph node metastasis(0.05) and p53(mt,= 0.000).The prognosis of the patients with high expression of Axin was better than that of the patients with low expression of Axin.Conclusions The expression of Axin is negatively correlated with that of p53(mt) with better prognosis for the patients with high expression of Axin.
