Cultivating librarians’ capability of lifelong study and creating real knowledge librarians are the trend of the time,and the self training and independent learning are the effective approaches to librarians’ lifelong study.This paper expounds that learning how to learn is the precondition of lifelong study,and probes into the effective approaches for librarians’ lifelong study,self training and independent learning.
