The active components obtained from aloe vera leaves are wildly used in medicine, cosmetics, metallurgy & chemical engineering, food, cosmetology & health care and other fields, and it has very remarkable efficacy. This article briefly introduced the new progress in research and development of aloe vera and also analyzed the problems that occurred in the process of the domestic industrialization of aloe vera.
