在废物中能够寻找到某种价值的东西是贫穷艺术的精神本质。它是反商业、独断的、平凡的、反形式的,但是其艺术观念往往超越我们的日常经验意识,超越于常人的思考域界;强调作品在观念或形式上的戏剧性对照。作为一种使用日常材料的创作方式,贫穷艺术的意涵,已经在当代艺术中得到广泛的拓展。
To discover valuable elements amongst trash is the essential spirit of Arte Povera.It is characterized by anti-commercialism,independence, mundane,and anti-formalism.However,its artistic concepts often transcend our everyday experience,and the boundary of thoughts. It emphasizes the theatrical contrast between concept and form.As a creative practice that uses everyday material,the meaning of Arte Povera has often been expanded in contemporary art practices.
