摘要
2011年11月19日,今日美术馆由黄笃策划的雅尼斯·库奈里斯"演绎中国"个展开幕。展览既是艺术家对中国思考的独有创作,又是他在中国的首次个展。作品集中呈现了对中国社会和文化的分析,库奈里斯秉承其惯用材料的方法——煤炭、钢板、铜板、麻袋、木头等,也大量采用了中国元素——古老的瓷片、瓷碗、白布以及军大衣,将它们与钢板组成了不同的图案形式和物质关系。
Jannis Kounellis's Translating China Cutated by Huang Du opened on the November 19^(th) 2011 at Today Are Museum. This exhibition is the first solo show of Kounellis in China.It had shown the artist's unique analysis and interpretation on Chinese society and culture.Apart from using the materials that often appeared in his earlier works,such as coal, steel,copper plate,hemp bags,wood,other materials with strong Chinese characteristics,for example,antique ceramic pieces,army coats were gathered into refresh images and formed an interesting relationship.
