摘要
向京个展反差强烈的"杂技"和"动物"系列,一帷之隔,宏大叙事地展示了艺术家的野心——人无非是"自然属性"与"社会属性"的复杂共同体。那些巨大的、温柔的动物匍匐在地,它们充满灵气而又容易受伤害,给人带来安慰和希望。可是"杂技",是冷静地观看干燥的现实。
The contrast shown in Xiang Jing' s'circus'and'animals'series is separated by a curtain.The grand narrative in this exhibition shows the artist' s ambition-humans are complex carries of'natural'and'social'characteristics.Those giant and timid animals crawling on the ground were intelligent and fragile,that brings comfort and hope to people.However,'circus'is where we watch the dry facts with indifference.
