Lin Yifu:prospects of Chinese economic development

日前,世界银行首席经济学家兼高级副行长林毅夫发表重要演讲,对我国的改革采取渐进的双轨制的转型方式做了高度肯定,对中国经济发展的未来进行了科学的推论:中国再维持20年平均每年8%的增长的可能性是完全存在的。

Recently,Li Yifu made an important speech on 'Strong quality and set an example 'theme forum.He said,China has experienced a rapid economic development period since 1978.The average annual growth rate of China's economy is 9.9% in the last 32 years.The size of our economy has increased 20.5-fold.In 2010,the per capita income reached 4,370 $.Meanwhile,China became a 'world factory',the largest exporter,and the world's second largest economy.China's reform and opening up has also made a great contribution to the world economy.Chinese economy is the most important pulling power for global economic recovery.The most obvious example is the East Asian financial crisis in 1998.And another example is the global financial and economic crisis in 2008.Lin pointed out that the most important reason of Chinese economic achievements is that China has taken a gradual dual-track transformation.In last years,China actively used the late-developing advantage to maintain the rapid economic growth.In Lin's opinion,our country need a little more independent research in the future,in order to achieve the transition from introduction to independent research.And Lin concluded that prospects of China's economic development are promising in general.
