工程抗震展望——寄语2000年

Prospect for Earthquake Resistance

本文简要回顾了我国的地震灾害情况和工程抗震科学发展的历史 ,特别是近二十年来所取得的成就。对地震危险的长期存在及其破坏性和工程抗震科学的发展提出看法 ,认为在新世纪 ,工程抗震科学应向“避、抗、减、用”震等方面外延 ,工程抗震科研领域应扩展到和包容灾害经济学、社会学、心理学、行政管理学、金融学等多科领域 ,才能取得更多成果 ,更好地达到抗震防灾的目的。

A brief review on the history of the earthquake disaster and the development of earthquake resistant engineering in China has been made in this paper. It is focused on the progress achieved within the past twenty years. The science and technology of earthquake resistant should be expanded into following aspects: disaster economy, sociology, Psychology, municipal management, finance, etc.for the sustainable development in the new Century. The conception of earthquake resistant should also involve the “escape from', “dissipation of' and “usage of' earthquake energy besides of “simple resistant of earthquake actions'.
