伦理学批评视角下的《紫颜色》

The Color Purple from the Perspective of Ethical Literary Criticism

《紫颜色》是美国当代黑人女作家艾丽斯.沃克的代表作。文章从伦理身份缺失,伦理意识觉醒和伦理环境压迫这三方面讨论了美国南方黑人女性被剥夺了最基本的为人子女、母亲以及妻子的伦理身份;失去了正常伦理属性家庭关系里本应享受的父母之爱与两性之爱。文章认为:《紫颜色》充分体现了黑人女作家沃克一贯主张的伦理诉求:即广大黑人女性只有通过自己的奋发自为,解除父权社会下"男尊女卑"观念的精神枷锁,才能获得真正意义上的解放。

Alice Walker,the contemporary black American female writer weaves the ethical theme into her novels.Her masterpiece,The Color Purple profoundly depicts in the patriarchal society,the black women＇s sufferings of losing ethical identities and their pursuit under the dual ethical situation of the racial oppression and gender discrimination.As the black women from the South America,their basic ethical identities of being children,mothers and the rights to enjoy the love from their parents and husband in ethically normal families were deprived of as well.At the end of the novel,under the influence of the sisterhood,Celie＇s ethical consciousness evoked and she successfully found her family and social ethical identities.In this novel,Alice Walker＇s persistent ethical pursuit is reflected：the majority of black women can get a real sense of the liberation only if they can make their own efforts to remove the spiritual shackles of ＂men are superior to women＂ in the patriarchal society.
