文学观念决定文学批评方法,不同的批评方法针对着不同的文学价值。如果从真、善、美的角度看,社会历史批评依据"文学源于生活"的观念,侧重求真;道德批评、心理学批评所依据的观念为"文学是人学",侧重求善;文体学批评、审美批评依据的观念为"文学是语言的艺术",侧重求美。它们相互补充,共同揭示着文学价值的实现。
