《中国英语对比语料库》的设计、建立和初探

"中国英语"的研究得到了世界范围的关注。在中国环境中使用的英语尽管已有近三百年的历史,其变体身份还未得到世界范围内的认可。国内外语学界对中国英语是否为一客观存在的英语变体也一直众说纷纭。为了避免各种基于直觉和经验的判断和论证,本文作者致力在这一领域基于语料库的研究,并希望通过建立一个能够代表在中国环境中使用的英语的语料库,来对中国英语的语法及句法特征进行量化分析。《中国英语对比语料库》即为我们研究的一个直接成果。

China English began to draw more and more attention both at home and abroad. Nevertheless, despite its extensive use in China by an exceptionally large number of users, China English has not been well recognized as a received variety. There is also much controversy among English researchers and educators in China regarding the status of China English. With a view to supply empirical evidence for more fruitful discussions and research, we propose a corpus-based research initiative that aims at a grammatical description of China English as an emergent variety within the general setting of World Englishes. One of the direct outcomes is the construction of a comparable corpus of China English （CCCE）.
