Role of Feature Industry in Regional Economic Development: An Empirical Analysis of Dingxi City

通过实证分析法对经济发展进行数学论证,旨在说明特色产业已成为带动定西市经济发展的核心产业,进一步通过一元线性回归估计方程预测今后年份特色产业收入的增减给定西市GDP带来的变化。结果表明,随着特色产业现代化的推进,特色产业收入每增加1亿元,将带给定西市GDP 2.44倍的贡献度。由此可知,特色产业是带动定西市人民脱贫致富、发展经济的主动力。

An empirical analysis to the economic development of Dingxi City is made by the mathe- matical method to demonstrate that feature industry has become the leading industry in local eco- nomic development. On such a basis, linear regression equation is adopted to predict the influence of future income increase and decrease of feature industry on the changes of Dingxi GDP. Results show that along with the modernization of feature industry, an increase of 100-million-yuan in- come in the feature industry will bring 2.44 times more income to Dingxi GDP. Therefore, it is the dynamo to help local people get rid of poverty and become better off.
