Marx and Engels is founder of social stratification theory. Lenin promoted the development of Marx and Engels class theory by the revolution and construction. Mao Zedong took it into practice and analysed social class structure and its changes correctly. A new period of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, Communist Party of China promotes the development of the Marxism class theory with Chinese reality.
