乒乓球步法是乒乓球的重要环节。手法的合理使用是以步法为基本前提的,只有通过步法来抢占到有利的位置,才能保证击球动作的正常发挥。乒乓球运动的特点决定了乒乓球步法训练的重要性。然而,在实践中,尤其是在训练初期,由于初学者的移动能力差,往往把主要精力集中在手法方面,而忽略了步法的学习和训练。这种先手法后步法的学习结果直接影响了乒乓球训练质量的提高。
