摘要 为了应对全球能源危机和温室气体排放引起的全球气候迅速变化所带来的不利影响,世界上许多国家的科学家们都在致力于探索、开发和利用清洁的可再生能源。同时为了国家的粮食安全,发展能源植物不得不选择能生长在边际性贫瘠土壤的非粮作物。甜高粱之所以成为目前公认的最具有应用前景的可再生能源作物之一,是由于其具有很多独特的优势:甜高粱含糖量和甘蔗相当,其生物量大、生长周期短、抗旱、耐盐碱和耐贫瘠等特性,使得其在燃料乙醇原料中所占的比例越来越大,很多国家把它作为甘蔗的互补作物甚至替代作物。在未来生物能源发展中,甜高粱必然凭借其自身优势发挥重要作用。 In order to cope with the global energy crisis and greenhouse gas emissions which are highly likely to be responsible for the accelerating global warming and its catastrophic consequences, the scientists in many countries are committed to the exploration, development and utilization of clean and renewable energy. Considering the national food security, the energy plants had to be chosen from non-mainly consumable grain crops that they can grow in margin lands. Sweet sorghum is concerned as one of the most promising ethanol feedstocks because it has many important traits : high sugar content similar to that of sugar cane, high biomass yield, short growth cycle, drought resistance, and the ability to grow on marginal land areas. Owing to the increasing of the proportion of sweet sorghum as fuel ethanol feedstock, many countries take it as complementary of sugar cane. As the development of bioenergy, sweet sorghum is expected to play an important role in the future by its own advantat;es.
