Discussion of the history of TCM disciplines

中医作为一种独特的知识体系及方式方法,形成较早。但作为现代学科,则是随着西学东渐逐步形成的。中医学科史即是从学科评论的高度,探讨职业化队伍、社团、现代教育培养机制、学术期刊及研究机构等发生发展的过程,进而分析影响它们发生发展的政治、经济、文化等诸种因素,以寻求解决当今中医学科发展诸种问题的思想资源。

TCM is a long period of time since it has become a unique system of knowledge and means of treatment.But as a modern subject,it grew up with the dissemination of Western learning.From the perspective of commenting a scientific subject,the disciplinary history of Chinese medicine actually could be described as an exploration on the occurrence and development of its professional teams or communities and the processing of cultivating students under the modern education system,and also on the original formation of its academic periodicals,research institutions,etc.Furthermore,the subject also focuses on analyzing the various factors of politics economy and culture that have influenced its occurrence and development,in order to perusing more intelligent methods of solving the problems on today’s TCM.
