究竟什么是文化,文化能做些什么,文化怎样引导未来,面对这些问题,必须突破对文化及其功能的狭隘的表象的理解,放宽视野看文化,把握文化的本质。要改变对本民族历史文化传统的简单肯定或粗暴否定态度,摆脱长期以来形成的至今根深蒂固的旧意识形态的思维惯性,在理性反省历史、坦然接纳传统中获取走向未来的智慧。

Nowadays,culture has become a more and more important source of national cohesion and creativity and a key factor of comprehensive national strength competition.What on earth is culture？ What can culture do？ How does culture lead the future？ To face these problems,we must break through the narrow and superficial understanding of culture and its function,broaden our horizon to see culture and grasp its essence.We also need to change the traditional simple affirmation or the rude negation of our national history and culture,get rid of the long-standing deep-rooted old ideological thinking inertia,and obtain the wisdom to get into future by examining history rationally and adopting tradition frankly.
