Beijing: A Comparative Perspective of the Construction of National Cultural Center

北京已经是中国的文化中心,但还是正在建设中的国家文化中心。从党的十七届六中全会精神中可以看到,文化在战略层面的意义更加凸显,北京推进国家文化中心建设的使命也更为艰巨。文化中心建设要跳出"北京",放眼世界,需要在学习借鉴国际大都市的城市文化发展经验过程中获得有益的启示。

Beijing is our country＇s cultural center,but it＇s still under construction.According to the spirits of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee of CPC,the strategic significance of culture is more prominent.And it is more difficult for Beijing to fulfill its task of promoting national cultural center construction.Cultural center construction should have the whole world in view instead of considering it only from Beijing＇s perspective,which involves gaining beneficial enlightenment by learning from the experience of cultural development of international metropolitan cities.
