摘要
地震动是一种典型的时序非平稳信号,采用Hilbert-Huang变换(HHT)对其进行分析较传统分析方法有着天然的优越性。文章在介绍HHT基本原理的基础上,比较了HHT与Fourier变换在适用条件、时间分辨率和谱分析结果上的差异,以及HHT与小波变换在基底、重构误差、时频分辨率和谱分析结果上的不同。分析结果表明,HHT是对以Fourier变换为基础的线性和稳态谱分析的一个重大突破,它较传统的信号分析方法更加适合地震动的处理与分析。
Ground motion is a typical kind of time sequential and non-stationary signal. Compared with traditional analysis methods, Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) has natural advantages in analyzing ground motion. The principles of HHT were expounded and a comparison between HHT and Fourier transform was conducted to clarify the difference in the suitable conditions, time resolution and spectral analysis results. The differences in basis function, signal reeonstruetion error, time-fre- quency resolution and spectral analysis results between wavelet transform and HHT were also com- pared. Analysis results indicate that HHT is a great breakthrough compared with the linear and steady-state spectral analysis and is more suitable for the processing and analysis of ground motion than traditional methods.
