In late February, just a few days before International Women＇s Day （which fell on March 8）, Beijing-based Cancer Institute and Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, hosted an event to promote cancer treatment and prevention among the media. The institute is the largest center in Asia that specializes in the prevention and treatment of cancer.
