21世纪资源共享共建环境下的高校图书馆

College Libraries in an Environment of Shared and Coconstructed Resources in the 21st Century

:“图书馆有如其它事物 ,必定处于永远发展变化的过程之中 ,图书馆是社会的产物 ,它因社会的需要而产生 ,也必须随社会的发展而变化”[1 ]。今天 ,当知识经济初见端倪 ,人类由工业经济时代跨入知识经济时代 ,人类社会由工业社会进入信息社会的时候 ,图书馆应发生什么样的变化 ?图书馆应朝着什么样的模式建设与发展 ,影响图书馆建设与发展的主要因素是什么 ?这是值得每一个图书馆工作者深思的问题。本文通过对当前社会信息活动的状态和社会对文献信息需求的分析 ,提出了影响当前图书馆发展与建设的主要社会环境因素是“文献信息资源共建与共享”。

Libraries,like many other college facilities,continually experience growth and development.Since libraries were generated from socities,it is inevitable for libraries to change in pace with a society's growth.” [1] .Today,as the economics of Information Technology expand,we are transitioning from an industrial economics era to an information technology era.As our society evolues from industrial society to information society,what changes should libraries incorporate to keep pace?What operational model and architecture should libraries adopt?What are the key issues that will affect the development and construction of libraries?Each librarian should pay attention to these issues.In this paper,the current situation of information applications and the requirements for information in our society are analyzed.Based on this analysis,it is presented that shared and coconstructed information resources are critical to the development and construction of libraries in our society environment.Meanwhile the operational model and architecture which college libraries in china should adopt in an environment of shared and coconstructed resoueces is discussed.
