This thesis analyses the present situation of libraries of institutions of higher learning of art,and points out that seizing the opportunity and quickening the process of automation is the requirement of the development of educational undertakings and an inevitable tendency.It also advances some considerations and measures about the realization of the connection of computers and networks and sharing of resources.
