铁屑应用于电镀污泥减量工艺初探

摘要 对广东省清远市某电镀厂的废水进行小试研究。结果表明:采用在酸性废水中投加铁屑的方法,使废水的pH值升高,产生的Fe2+随着原水酸度的增加而增多;投加铁屑后的酸性废水和含铬废水混合后对铬有显著的去除作用,且可以大大减少石灰和硫酸亚铁的用量,从而减少污泥量,降低处理成本。 A pilot test was performed on the treatment of wastewater in an electroplating factory in the city of Qingyuan, Guangdong. The results show that adding iron chips to acidic wastewater can raise the pH value of the wastewater, and the generated Fe^2+ will increase with the rising acidity of raw water. The mixing of the iron chips contained acidic wastewater and the wastewater containing chromium has a remarkable effect on the removal of chromium, which can greatly reduce the dosage of lime and ferrous sulfate, thus decreasing the sludge volume and treating cost.
