the digitalization of precious paper documents, the production of thematic database, the establish- ment of websites, and the download of electronic documents for readers are all products of digital library technology and network technology, and an important trend of the development and utilization of valuable paper documents. Chongqing Library in this regard started relatively early, and has already made a thorough research and valuable ex- ploration. This paper puts forward a few improvements on the existing retrieval system of digital Minguo literature in Chongqing Library, and therefore provides a reference for the construction of characteristic digital resource and the- matic database service. 5 Refs.
