The E-book and Network Reading Services of University Libraries

人类已经进入数字化时代,高校大学生的阅读发生了巨大的变化。电子书与网络阅读具有如下特点:获取很方便,阅读快速化,阅读个性化,搜寻与跳跃等。高校图书馆可以通过购买电子书、引进电子书阅读器、自建电子书数据库、搜集与整理网络电子书等提供电子书服务,还可以通过电子报纸、电子杂志、网页在线阅读等提供网络阅读服务。

With the advent of digital age, university students＇ reading habit has undergone tremendous changes. Characteristics of e-books and network reading are as follows： easy access, speedy reading, individualized reading, search reading and skip reading. To provide students with e-book service, university libraries may subscribe e-books and e-reader, establish self-built databases, collect and organize e-books; to provide students with network reading, university libraries may subscribe e-newspapers, e-magazines, online-reading service and so on.
