摘要
以有效提高理工科学生的英语写作能力为出发点,通过定性和定量研究相结合的方法,讨论分析理工科学生在英语写作中受到的母语迁移影响.研究发现,在写作中所受母语迁移的影响主要体现在词汇、句法和语篇等3个层面,由此提出母语迁移必须在重视对学习者进行语法教学的同时鼓励学生广泛阅读,要在加强写作训练的同时重视开展对比教学,这样才能帮助学习者科学利用母语迁移理论,提高英语写作水平.
With the aim to efficiently improve the writing ability of the non-English learners majoring in science and engineering, the present research, employed both qualitative and quantitative research methods, is expected to study the influence of mother tongue transfer on English writing for these learners. It is found that these sub- jects depend heavily on mother tongue during the process of writing from such aspects as lexical, syntactical and discourse. Moreover, based on these findings, some effective countermeasures like laying great emphasis on grammar teaching, or encouraging students to do extensive reading etc. will be brought up to help students avoid these problems and thus make use of mother tongue transfer scientifically to improve their writing abilities.
