语言研究之路——贺胡壮麟教授八十华诞

本文拟根据中国期刊全文数据库(CNKI)内的论文,观察胡老师的语言研究之路,分析他的主要研究领域和观点以及他对我国语言学研究所做的贡献。分析发现,胡壮麟教授除了修辞学、语言规划、语言测试、英汉语言对比、辞书之外,主要的研究重点可归纳为六方面,涉及系统功能语言学、语言学理论和符号学、语篇分析、文体学、语言教育、超文本、多模态、隐喻、可证性等。这些反映出胡壮麟教授注意引进和探讨国外先进的语言学理论,具有批判性思维,吸取其精华,勇于摒弃不正确的理论,注意国外理论的本土化和跨学科研究,关注我国的外语教育,对我国的语言学研究的发展做出了贡献。他的一些观点对于我们的语言学研究和实践具有很强的指导意义。

Based on the papers collected from CNKI,this paper attempts to examine the linguistic inquiries Prof.Zhuanglin Hu have made and describe his major fields of research and generalize his contributions to the development of linguistics in China.Apart from rhetoric,language planning,language testing,contrastive studies in English and Chinese,and lexicography,CNKI shows that Hu's major fields of research can be categorized into six types,including systemic functional linguistics,general linguistics,semiotics,discourse analysis,stylistics,language education,hypertext,multimodality,metaphor,and evidentiality.The numerous papers on diversified topics reflect Hu's devotion to introducing and examining foreign new linguistic theories,localizing foreign theories,fostering interdisciplinary studies and foreign language teaching in China.He experiments with critical thinking and is quick at grasping the essence of good theories.Many of his academic ideas can serve as a good guide to our linguistic research and practice.
