Quite a few events in the international situation of 2011 led to formation of new challenges to the U.S.foreign policy in the Middle East.Turbulences and sudden turn of events in the Western Asia and North Africa are likely to result in repaint of geopolitical landscape in the Middle East and surely to bring many variables to the U.S.Middle East diplomacy in the future.Changes in the U.S.-Pakistani relations may in a way create new challenges to the Obama administration in its counterterrorism strategy and South Asia Strategy.In disregard of the U.S.obstruction,the Palestinians submitted their application for UN membership,which may put the U.S.relationship with the Muslim world to new test.All there challenges will likely be further fermented and will have consequences to the U.S.global strategy,including putting a check on the much publicized U.S.piovt to the Asia Pacific.
