Wenzhou: a city which leaves no shadow

我走遍这里的一切,从乐清到瑞安,从鹿城区到龙湾区,从五马街到江心屿,我甚至远赴平阳和苍南,又到了有浙江西藏之称的青田,我见到了温州的一切,我惟独没有看见它的背影。

Wenzhou does not need romance. When standing in the crowd flowing through the gate of Liushi Electric Exhibition, I found that there was an impulse which seemed more powerful than any poem or romance, that is, a kind of original, natural, simple and desirable vitality. It was winter then, but I could even smell spring. Temperature was low, but I could even felt something flaming in the air. I walked around there, over and over again, from Leqing to Rui'an, from Lucheng to Longwan, from Wuma Rd. to Jiangxin Island, or even to Cangnan and Qingtian. I saw everything of Wenzhou, except for the shadow of this city. He is walking too fast to leave a simple shadow.
