公文汉译英的顺应性研究

An Adaptation Approach of the Chinese-English Translation of Official Document

本文以公文汉译英为研究对象,以顺应论为依据,结合公文的翻译和顺应论研究,从词汇层级、句法层次、语境层次考察公文的特点;以V erschueren的顺应论和认知一致原则为基础,从交际语境和语言结构差异的角度对影响公文翻译的各种不同但又相互联系的语境因素进行探讨。通过对原文和译文的差异比较,说明译者为促成认知一致,在公文翻译过程中应如何顺应这些语境因素(语言语境与交际语境):顺应受众的心理世界、社交世界、物理世界以及顺应目的语的语言现实。

Based on the Chinese--English translation of official document and the standpoint of adaptation theory, this paper studies the characteristics of official document from the vocabulary levels, syntax levels and context levels. Based on the adaptation theory and cognizance consistency of Verschueren, this paper discussed the different but connected contextual factors which affect the official document translation from the view of communicative context and language structure difference translation from the perspectives of contextual correlates and communicative correlates. By comparing the difference between source language and target language, it explained the translator how to adapt to these contextual factors（language context and communicative context）to facilitate the accordance of cognizance： adapting to the audiences＇ psychological world, social world, physical world and to the target languge reality.
