The predicament of governmental market economy refers to the fact that because of the role of government in market behavior, the development of market economy enhanced the total of economic indicators without bringing people prosperity and welfare. The first reason is that the government is subjective and profit-seeking in the intervention of the market economy; the second is that the officials and common people ignore market rules. Only by breaking through the official evaluation system based on the GDP principle, perfecting the system of administrative examination and approval, punishing more severely power rent and giving full play to the system of citizen participation and supervision, can market economy develop in a healthy way, and can economic development really benefit the people.
